Senior Safety & Environmental Technician Lead

Responsibilities:

• Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings, and diseases, which occurred at the plant.
• Planning & assist in performing annual Industrial hygiene monitoring to comply with local environmental standards & regulations.
• Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspection and able to work with respective area owners to come out with solution to solve the unsafe act or unsafe conditions observed.
• Conduct incident investigation and generate incident report with minimal guidance.
• Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active.
• Assist in any safety & environmental programs and its execution.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent approved by minister. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational/Industrial Safety, safety-related field or equivalent work experience related to safety, industrial hygiene, health. Green book holder is advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment related to people safety, health and environment.  Preferably in food, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.
• Detailed knowledge of DOSH regulations and applicable industry environmental, occupational health and safety standards.
• Possess knowledges on confined space activity, identified & control the hazards.
• Advanced proficiency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.
