Warehouse Supervisor (FT)
Summary
The DC warehouse operations are consisting of the day-to-day activities of receiving, put-away, storage, picking, dispatching, distribution, housekeeping, and inventory control to support either internal customers e.g. Production or external customers, and plus the pulling of finished goods from Production and despatch it to export countries.
Job Recruitment
- Ensure safe warehouse operations (on shift) and comply with HSY HSE standards and the Occupational Safety and Health Act
- Ensure conduct periodically HSE check with correction action and ensure all relevant records are up to date.
- Investigate incident & accident reports and ensure that corrective actions are undertaken.
- Ensure risk assessments are reviewed
- Ensure operation adheres to HSY Good Warehousing Practice and Quality policies.
- Ensure effectively convert production transfer requests to transfer orders in a timely manner
- Ensure effectively picking of customer orders without undue delay and accurately
- Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
- Ensure timely confirm all the transfer orders
- Assist Data Entry to update stocks movement into SAP after office hours
- Exercise control of warehouse related to expenses so that it falls within budget provisions
- Ensure the highest inventory records accuracy is attained
- Ensure maintain controlled documents that will support inventory integrity
- Ensure daily cycle count and monthly stock take is done without fail.
- Ensure all system-related standard operating procedures are written and communicated
- Ensure all procedures are controlled documents and that they are reviewed and amended as per business expectations
- Ensure systems and related networks are reliable
- Ensure correct stock rotation/movement of stock within the picking/storage area, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and optimum warehouse utilization.
- Lead and motivate MH to achieve both team goals and individual objectives/responsibilities.
- Attending to any ad-hoc request in relation to logistics activities
- Know the legal and compliance responsibility of the position. Lead ethically and model compliant behaviour
- Maintain an environment where the employees are encouraged to speak up without fear of retaliation
- Ensure employees in responsibility understand the compliance responsibilities of their jobs and actively participate in the compliance program
Education, qualifications, and training
- Minimum Diploma in related discipline or equivalent
- Certificate in Warehousing/ Inventory Control
- Trained in ISO 9002/HACCP/GMP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG Warehouse Operations specifically handling raw material
- Working Experience in warehouse environment
- Proficient in MS Office focusing in Advance Excel
- Good Numerical and analytical
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent and possess good people management skills
- Knowledge for warehouse management system (SAP) in FMCG environment
