HR Business Partner - Europe

 

 

Job Summary :

This position will provide day to day HR support to the business in Europe region. From managing day to day operations of HR across Europe region, to being first point of contact for all employee related issues, policy implementation, benefits management and other HR support. Will work mainly with People Leaders and employees across Europe region

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities :

 

 

Summary of major duties:

 

Employee Lifecycle Management

  1. Pre-employment and onboarding process for new joiners
    1. Employee vendor account creating
    2. Setup for new joiners- Inform GBS Payroll to include in payment run, share benefits
    3. Offer creating in partnership with Sr. Manager and Total Rewards Team
    4. Medical & Life Insurance addition
    5. Onboarding- sending out announcements, Setting up induction presentation & schedule
  2. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations, recognition, and engagement
  3. L&D Calendar - Coordinating training programs with COE and assigning trainings to relevant groups of employees, maintaining attendance. Collecting & analyzing training feedback.
  4. Managing and administration of Secondment across Europe (Secondments to be as minimal as possible)
    1. Support seconded employees in Ph, Germany on Medical, Life & Accident insurance related matters
    2. Liaising with distributor payroll and Hershey payroll for expense and payroll administration
  5. Collaborates with ER & legal teams to resolve employee related issues in Europe
  6. Conducts exit interviews and coordinates with HR ops/admin teams to complete exit formalities
  7. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  8. Employee Engagement – Lead monthly engagement initiatives, quarterly connects and support townhalls.
  9. Policy Updates - Collaborates with external approved consultant and internal legal team and Total Rewards team for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws initiated by country laws

 

 

Talent Management

Working with People managers & Sr. HR Manager in identifying key talents for future promotional roles:

  1. Creating presentation slides on talent curve
  2. Managing ongoing discussions on top/key talent on the curve
  3. Partnership with LT on assigning opportunities for development areas
  4. Managing Internal transfers end-to-end in partnership with mobility, total rewards, legal.
  5. Supporting the annual performance management cycle end-to-end

 

Benefits administration

  1. Centralizing/Reviewing benefits - Medical, Life & Accident Plans
  2. Overseeing insurance management like broker management, scheme design, employee communication.
  3. Manage/Update Employee Census list

 

Vendor Payments- Procurement

Coordinating with AP team to ensure payments processed for contractor payroll, recruitment agencies, insurances, etc.

 

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: 

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree holder in Business/Management/Human Resources

Experience:

Minimum 8 years related working experience and have experience in local labour laws and regulations
