Summary:

 

We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to support our key markets Philippines, Thailand and Australia along important business projects as well as pressing strategic and operational matters. The successful candidate will bring relevant business acumen and understanding in data analytics + presentation to support the Regional Commercial Leads [CL] (BDM & CM) in managing & steering the business. Similarly, a good understanding of Customer Marketing in FMCG environment will ensure strong, efficient support to the Regional Marketing agenda. Candidates should have a hands-on approach to business, understand to collaborate and facilitate across multiple stakeholders, have a structured approach to working and an inherent interest in finding efficient solutions to everyday business challenges. Knowledge in AI-based work is a plus.

 

Key Deliverables

  • Support Commercial Leads in managing key projects across focus markets Philippines, Thailand & Australia incl. but not limited to data analytics & presentation + project management support
  • Co-Create Trade Marketing Concepts with Distributors/CLs; support Budget Monitoring & PO management
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional / Cross-Market alignments along relevant operational + strategic issues
  • Support Regional Teams along Management Visits & Coordination
  • Support in improving work processes, templates, structure & ensuring information integrity

 

 

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Business Development Support

•    Support the Development of Joint Business Planning with key retail, wholesale, and distributor.
•    Analyze, Develop, & Present Business Cases driving relevant KPIs aligned with CLs.
•    Support Commercial Leads in building Strategic / Annual Plans for Focus markets with analytics & presentation skills

 

Customer Marketing Support

•    Collaborate with Marketing + Trade Marketing to develop & deploy activations & POSM in Thailand
•    Track competitor pricing, promotions, innovations, and market activations.
•    Track execution of KPIs via field force reports, market visits, and retail audits.
•    Co-manage the budget & support on PO creation & tracking
•    Lead the TP & DME Tracker management, ensuring all inputs are up-to-date and available

 

Internal Project Coordination & Monitoring

•    Ensure communication / coordination of information across multiple teams to align and drive execution along Regional Commercial Goals
•    Support Everyday (Market Visits) to Critical (Annual Trade Negotiation) projects managed by Commercial Leads through effective support in Project Management

 

Data Maintenance & Structure Support

•    Ensure Data Integrity, Storage & Accessibility across work documents, SharePoint & Workflows
•    Retrieve, structure and disseminate relevant information to interested parties
•    Develop or Improve internal Templates, Documents & Ways of Working aligned with CLs

 

 

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s in business-related degrees, or equivalent professional experience. Certifications along important tools (Nielsen, Excel, PPT) is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Must have atleast 4 to 5 years working experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PPT for int. data analysis & presentation.
  • Project Management-based work experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in working with AI models (CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude) is a plus.

 

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Analytical skills: comfortable with translating data into actionable insight, with some experience in building trackers and reports. Capacity to work within multiple internal and external information systems.
  • Action-oriented & proactive:  Good follow-up skills, gets things done, ability to work independently and prioritize. Proactiveness and willingness to learn are absolute musts for success in this position.
  • Resilience & problem-solving mindset: the right candidate needs to demonstrate “can-do” attitude and willingness to step out of one’s comfort zone.
  • Creative Thinking: Interest and ability to reflect and see new ways of working.
