Summary:

 

The HR Project Coordinator is a critical execution partner who enables the successful delivery of HR initiatives by providing disciplined project coordination, operational rigor, and stakeholder support. This role ensures HR projects are planned, tracked, communicated, and executed effectively—supporting project managers and HR leaders while maintaining momentum, transparency, and governance across the project lifecycle.

 

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Planning & Administrative Support: Support the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, milestones, and trackers to enable effective execution of HR initiatives.
  • Task & Deliverable Coordination: Coordinate assigned project tasks and deliverables, track progress, and follow up on actions to support on‑time completion under the direction of a project manager or lead.
  • Stakeholder & Meeting Coordination: Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare materials, capture notes, and communicate updates to ensure alignment and follow‑through across project participants.
  • Documentation & Reporting Maintenance: Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, action logs, and risk/issue trackers, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Risk & Issue Tracking Support: Identify and log project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns to project leadership for resolution and guidance.

  • Operates within clearly defined project scope, processes, and priorities. Work is performed under the guidance of a project manager or senior team member, with decisions escalated as appropriate.

  • Responsible for coordinating and executing assigned tasks; does not independently set project direction, approve changes to scope, or make budgetary decisions.

  • Applies standard procedures and tools to identify issues, track risks, and surface concerns. Escalates issues to project leadership for resolution.

  • Interacts regularly with HR team members, project stakeholders, and partners to gather information, share updates, and support alignment. Influence is primarily through coordination and follow‑up rather than authority.

  • Impacts project efficiency, communication flow, and delivery quality through accurate tracking, documentation, and coordination. 

 

 

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field preferred

 

Experience:

  • Must have 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations support, administrative coordination, or a similar role supporting structured work initiatives.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail with a bias toward execution
  • Comfort working across HR, IT, and business stakeholders
