Procurement Supervisor
Work Setup: Hybrid (1-2x a week in our 6750 Ayala Ave. Office)
Location: Makati, Metro Manila
Summary:
The role of the Sr Supervisor Procurement Service Delivery is to lead a team and activities consisting of procuring direct and indirect materials and services using SAP ECC, Ariba Purchasing, S4 Purchasing modules; also provide support and training Indirect Requisitioners. This role will lead HBP Procurement Service Line activities at India, EMEA, Manila and others international regions/offices.
Being a key driver in operationalizing purchasing division strategies and meeting business goals and targets. This role will help to drive key Procurement initiatives for properly scaling the business to best support our internal and external stakeholders.
This role will ensure the teams in procurement provide best in class customer service. This role also has direct responsibility of Project Management execution; coordinate meetings with stakeholders; follow up on intakes, process or new projects for the area.
Job description to include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for Direct & Indirect Procurement transactional processes and departmental functions such as requisition/purchase order transaction processing, invoice resolution, change orders, related management reporting, request for quotations and corresponding internal controls.
- Responsible for compliance and SOX auditing activities.
- Ensure the Procurement team adhere to and exceed the KPI’s/ SLA´s. Responsibillty and ownership of KPI’s/SLA´s.
- Closely work with Planning, Finance and Business users to effectively manage the Requisition and PO compliance process.
- Be the key contact person (subject matter expert) for Procurement functions.
- Participate and Lead in cross functional process and system improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit & Financial Operations to ensure the maintenance of a strong Control environment.
- Participate in global Procurement policy changes/amendments/enhancements working closely with Procurement governance team.
- Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leading international procurement team; team meetings support, Monthly metrics, KPI, etc (50%)
- Project Management: Coordinate and lead the intakes for the area with PrOpt, Transtion team, Global Procurement, etc (20%)
- Simplify, Digitize & Reporting (15%)
- Increase the team effectiveness and impact by streamlining and optimizing processes.
- Intakes stabilization phases moves into value-added/ process improvements opportunities giving exposure to Team members.
- Co Wide Support for all aspects of the P2P workstream (15%)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, in Accountant or related field

Experience:
- Must have 4 to 6 years of experience implementing/operating/optimizing procurement systems and processes.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years managing a team handling 5 to 6 direct reports.
- Has direct procurement experience managing both direct and indirect materials.
- Knowledgeable in any ERP systems (strong preference with SAP)
- Support and coordinate remote activities performed in Regional offices.
- Excellent relationship builder and communicator with proven leadership and motivation ability.
- Amenable to a mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
