Senior HRIS Specialist

Working Hours: Full Night Shift (8:00pm to 5:00am)

 

Summary:

 

This position has operational focus for the SuccessFactors Compensation, Talent suite, Role-Based Permissions and HR analytics technology with the ability to flex across platforms. Must have a strong focus on user experience – partnering with the Annual Process team members to ensure that our annual processes are simple, effective & people focused through technology.

This is a full-time position that would adhere to Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
 

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Compensation, Talent, Role-Based Permissions and Analytics (80%)

  • Responsible for the configuration and testing of the SuccessFactors Compensation and Reporting modules to support the execution of annual processes, including annual compensation and variable pay processes
  • Prepare accruals using the SuccessFactors Compensation module, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for the configuration and testing of the SuccessFactors Talent Suite and Reporting modules to support the execution of annual processes, including talent planning, goals, succession, performance management and career development process
  • Responsible for SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions, Reporting and Analytics
  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and solutions to drive talent processes using the Qualtrics 360 Platform as it relates to any talent processes such as Continuous Feedback, Development Potential, etc.
    • Deliver technology that aligns business process and industry best standards utilizing existing software functionality and releases for continuous improvement
  • Ability to identify cause/effect relationships, solve root-cause issues while eliminating nonvalue added activities
  • Complete semi-annual SuccessFactors Releases including testing and reviewing changes and enhancements to supported modules - Identify improvements to enhance user experience and drive optimization
  • Additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives

 

 

HR Project Delivery (20%)

  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Analytics, Information Services, Annual Process team members and key end users to clearly define requirements to facilitate annual process execution, system enhancements to existing technology and new system implementations
  • Manage projects for technology implementations and enhancements with a focus on continuous improvement and elimination of non-value-added manual steps within processes
  • Process execution to ensure technology projects deliver within Hershey standards for technology implementation, consulting with cross-functional business experts as needed
  • Provide guidance and recommend solutions / alternatives to HR Leadership Team, HR Analytics, Information Services and HR Process owners to solve business problems
  • Create and maintain process guides/documentation to support various processes/workstreams

 

 


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in configuring and optimizing various SuccessFactors modules (Compensation, Talent Suite, Role-Based Permissions, Reporting) and Qualtrics 360 Platform
  • Strong proficiency in SuccessFactors reporting tools and analytics
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and reports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, in HR, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience 

 

Experience:

  • Must have at least 3 years plus experience with HR technology platforms, systems, analytics and processes
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation (required), Talent Suite (preferred), Role-Based Permissions (preferred), Reporting (preferred)
  • Experience with Qualtrics 360 Platforms, Advanced Excel Skills, and ServiceNow (ticketing system) are preferred
