Position Title: Executive/ Sr. Executive Technical

 

Summary:  


This position reports to BU lead
This position is responsible for creating and productions schedules for HIPL/3P production in the shfits for Mandideep plant, monitor RM/PM stocks and track OEE as per production cycle in order to ensure production targets are met with Safety, Quality and other compliances.

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:  


Areas of Responsibility:


Production Planning and Execution

•    Align and execute production plan with Line lead and percolate the same in Shift handoff meeting with Operators.
•    Execute the production plan in shift in a very efficient manner, ensuring human safety an quality and other compliances.
•    Recipe adherence as per the laid down mechanism, during production.
•    Plan for RM/PM in shifts and ensure next 8 hrs production is also covered.
•    Manpower scheduling and coaching to the team, time to time.
•    Continuous improvement mindset and demonstration of right kind of behaviour as per Hershey Leader Standards.
•    Efficient problem solving with the team so that team can arrive at a correct Root cause and subsequent corrective and preventive actions.
•    Execute actions and support their line centric team to meet the goals for the business unit
•    Driving CIL Daily Management Systems for the BU.


Production Review

•    Participate in Shift Handoff DDS and drive all 6 Daily management systems.
•    Review past shifts’ production performance for both HIPL and 3P.
•    Monitor the achievement of monthly production schedule for both HIPL and 3P.
•    Work as per the guidelines of Hershey Policies and drive defect reduction so that continuous improvement is driven.
•    Continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery.
•    Meeting Site KPIs, MIP KPIs and CBN KPIs.
•    Report daily OEE, B/D details and RM/PM losses for in shifts.
•    Review efficiency measures such as asset utilization, plant productivity, machine downtime, etc
•    Track the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
•    Review all production data to provide relevant information and reports to other teams
•    Review production reports to analyze discrepancies and gaps, and take action to rectify as necessary


Innovation & Cross Functional Projects and Audit Support

•    Support for Hershey Lean pillar progression and act as a cytalist for change management.
•    Undertaking Six sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt projects for improvement in shop floor.
•    Coordinate with R&D, plant teams, procurement, to support innovation projects for both HIPL and 3P development and delivery
•    Provide reports to maintain data accuracy in CI projects in Oxygen.
•    Support all audits by providing right documents to all concerned  government authorities as necessary


Personal Capability Development

•    Responsible and committed for the training and development plan for self  
•    Be the ‘owner’ for continuous growth under the supervision of the BU Lead.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:  

 

Knowledge:

•    Knowledge of FMCG business and financial perspective
•    Knowledge of Soy Milk Extraction, Homogenization and Sterilization process
•    Knowledge of Tetra Pak Aseptic Filling operation
•    Knowledge of bottling plant.
•    Expertise in manufacturing management
•    Knowledge of QMS, FSMS, OHSAS and ISO 18001.
•    Expertise in effective order management
•    Knowledge of audit controls
•    Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint ,MS Word, MS Project and Minitab


Skills:

•    Excellent communication skill, multi-tasking and time management skills
•    Leadership and team work collaboration skills
•    Ability to work in a collaborative manner with various functions across the organization

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:  

 

Education: B.Tech Dairy or Food Technologist with Six sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt/ MBA in Lean Manufacturing


Experience: 4+ experience in FMCG, technical or manufacturing experience ,Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TPM, preferred
