What You’ll Do

  • Support the holistic everyday CMG business and Snacks Seasonal Business with focus on reporting integrity, planogram builds, promotional tracking, and analytics to support strategy.
  • Collaborate with Target to sell in and track test and learns to grow category space.
  • Collaboratively work with Target team to uncover insights and build action plans to drive profitable market share growth. 
  • Have the flexibility to be a total team player and jump in during times where you can assist the greater team on strategic deliverables with the customer.
  • Display powerful storytelling ability to bring initiatives to life through traditional category management tools including, but not limited to: JDA, IRI syndicated data platform, Numerator, external resources, to ensure the execution and support of strategic business plan.
  • Provide support to apply a holistic category approach to accelerate our digital sales penetration, improving our digital shelf placement with Targets Site Merch Team.


What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 1-2 years of Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Category Management processes and CPG Industry trends
  • Category management foundations to include; space planning software, syndicated and panel data sources, with Target specific applications DOMO, VIQ, IRI TCN experience preferred.
  • Prior space planning experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
