Customer Sales Executive, Salty & BFY
Job Location: Mississauga, CA
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a critical member of the Hershey Canada sales team, the CSE Salty & BFY will be responsible to profitably grow Hershey Canada’s business and as part of the Salty & Better-For-You Snacks team, to achieve the assigned objective/plan, including gross sales, net sales, market share and profit contribution.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders and with a wide range of customers to develop annual Business Plans focused on listing new products, achieving permanent distribution and developing & executing a comprehensive promotional calendar
Assess data and translate into an impactful selling story in support of customer & Hershey ambitions
Forecast sales and set targets and develop 1-3 year growth plans
Manage customer promotional and merchandising strategy
Coordinate with marketing teams and cross functional partners to ensure new business opportunities are aligned with Hershey brand strategies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Above average knowledge of Microsoft office software (PowerPoint and Excel mandatory)
Above average knowledge of AC Nielsen with ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to effectively forecast supply requirement in a dynamic environment
Ability to translate data and strategy into a selling story
Above average knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape
Sales presentation skills; Written and verbal communication skills
Customer relationship management skills & experience
Experience & Education:
5+ year’s progressive sales experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods or related capacity
Previous snack food category experience an asset
Bachelor’s degree required
