Role Overview:

The Customer Sales Executive Dollar Channel is a key member of the Hershey Canada Sales team, responsible for profitably growing the business with Dollar Tree while achieving corporate objectives, including gross sales, net sales, market share, and profit contribution. This role combines strategic planning, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth in the Canadian Dollar Channel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Significant internal partnerships with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing via sales strategy, collaboration, and planning
  • Manage Dollar Tree top-line sales growth via new listings and seasonal programs with a strong focus on profitability for Hershey Canada to help fuel share-driving initiatives in other accounts
  • Build a strong relationship with Dollar Tree Category Managers and support staff as they continue to grow their store network and increase max retails to maintain premiere confection vendor status and continue to over-index on growth vs. competitors
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to develop monthly sales forecasts, PPK distributions, seasonal program growth, and deliver on focus sell opportunities
  • Assist with driving Dollarama growth, thereby gaining understanding of the Canadian Dollar Channel as a whole while leveraging Dollar Channel best practices from Hershey’s U.S. CSE counterparts

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive sales experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods or related field; snack food category experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel mandatory)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends effectively
  • Excellent sales presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire for personal and professional growth
