Job Description

As a critical member of the Hershey Canada sales team, the CSE will be responsible for profitably growing Hershey Canada’s business with Loblaws while delivering our overall corporate assigned objectives & targets (including gross sales, net sales, market share and profit contribution).

 

You will…

· Work cross functionally to develop and deliver high impact sales presentations to our top tier customers.

· Possess the ability to assess data, identify opportunities and translate information into actionable selling proposals at accounts.

· Actively be involved in sales forecasting and sales planning.

· Manage customer promotional and merchandising strategies.

· Coordinate with marketing teams and cross functional partners to ensure new business opportunities are aligned with Hershey brand strategies.

· Focus on achieving appropriate permanent distribution, identification and placement of display opportunities as well as executing a comprehensive promotional calendar.

· Establish and communicate priorities for the retail organization to win in stores.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements

· Experience:

o 5+ year’s progressive sales experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods or related capacity

o Previous snack food category experience an asset

· Education: Bachelor’s degree required

· Technical Skills

o Above average knowledge of Microsoft office software (PowerPoint and Excel mandatory)

o Above average knowledge of AC Nielsen with ability to analyze and interpret data

· Soft Skills

o Ability to effectively forecast supply requirement in a dynamic environment

o Ability to translate data and strategy into a selling story

o Above average knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape

o Sales presentation skills; Written and verbal communication skills

o Customer relationship management skills & experience

o Entrepreneurial spirit; Forward thinking and ability to challenge the status quo

o Persuasive negotiation skills

o Teamwork/Collaboration. Ability to develop strong cross functional working relationships

o Strong desire for personal and professional development

o Detail oriented and ability to multitask

o Experience in a fast-paced business environment and ability to work independently are essential
