Future Opportunities Intern Innovation (Winter 2024)

Location: Mississauga 

Duration: Winter 2024 (January - April 2024) 

You will gain an understanding of the multi-faceted areas in Marketing that are required to support a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.  This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization during your work term and to gain hands-on experience in the field of consumer marketing.

What will you do? 

• Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring innovation projects from inception to completion. 

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend studies to identify opportunities and risks for innovation projects.  

• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports. 

• Collaborate with cross functional teams across all key departments within Hershey from R&D to Sales as you commercialize new items. 

• Assist in the day-to-day execution of business priorities and manage the P&L 

• Have exposures to all aspects of the business, round out general management skillset in addition to marketing fundamentals.

Minimum Requirements 

• You are Enrolled in a business / marketing program at a post-secondary or post-grad institution with a focus in Project Management 

• You can spot and seize opportunities, while ensuring deadlines are met. You don’t just stop there you drive the solution to the end - even if it’s outside your responsibilities. 

• You have demonstrated leadership ability by creating authentic relationships with other functions to discuss challenges and incorporate their perspective, creating a mutually beneficial solution. 

• You are quick to adapt to new processes and can own and manage your projects neatly from end-to-end. You know how to get the job done while creating the future. 

• You can look at an analytical dashboard and gain insights to recommend actionable next steps.
