Intern Supply Chain (Summer 2025)

The Supply Intern will support the successful execution of the supply & demand plan. This position will work closely with the Customer Replenishment and Demand Planning Teams to understand and deliver Supply Chain goals, including delivering product at the right quantities at the right time. The candidate will collaborate with the warehouse team, order management, and others as necessary to achieve target service-levels to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization during your work term and to gain hands-on experience.

 

What will you do?

 

  • Support flawless seasonal executions through proactive supply chain planning & monitoring.  Drive corrective action with internal & external business owners to mitigate retail risk
  • Analyze item-level replenishment settings using key supply chain metrics across multiple customers
  • Investigate forecast exceptions and service gaps. Drive corrective actions to support on-shelf availability and eliminate waste.
  • Build/run reporting - including on key metrics, seasonal gaps, and forecast fluctuations – and derive insights/actions
  • Help manage demand through promotional events, modular changes, and item changes
  • Build and maintain multiple internal relationships, including with Sales, Customer Service, and Sales Strategy
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives, including truckload optimization and customer fill rate fines management

 

Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements

 

  • You are enrolled in a business/Supply Chain/Operations or mathematics as a post-secondary field.
