Job Title: Manager, Sales Finance
Job Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Principle Accountabilities:

The Manager, Sales Finance will report into the Senior Sales Finance Manager and will provide financial leadership to the sales team, partnering with them to drive sustainable revenue growth.

The Manager plays a business-critical role by providing analytics and insights that support the delivery of the strategic imperatives for Hershey Canada.
-
The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and analysis skills.
-
The Manager will work with all levels of the Hershey Canada organization to understand current results, future expectations, and the business drivers that provide opportunities and/or risks to the division. This position is an indispensable partner of the business teams, well positioned to lead thinking on how to drive the business.
Planning and Analysis
-
Will lead the annual and long-range financial plans for a +$550M portfolio.

Provide insights on emerging trends and identify short- and long-term risks and opportunities.

Analyze the structural economics of our strategic accounts and develop actionable and sustainable performance improvement plans.

Financial leadership for the sales teams which include the development of performance guardrails, mix/trade/promotional strategies, and waste optimization plans.

Will drive transparency by developing sustainable reports and tools that will assist your cross functional business partners in making profitable business decisions.

Brilliant execution of ad-hoc analysis.
Innovation & Strategic Projects

Will lead comprehensive business cases from end to end, advising on NPV, IRR and Payback metrics.

Support the Sales Finance Manager with various optimization initiatives.

Lead, influence, and support various strategic and cross functional projects.
Business Partnership
-
Transforming the sales team into business managers by leading business acumen training and regularly coaching stakeholders on how to drive profitable revenue growth.

Will lead, embrace, and have a passion for process improvement and implement in collaboration with your business partners.

Will lead monthly and quarterly fitness reviews with their respective accounts.
Trade Management
-
Will oversee and govern trade expense tracking, reporting and governance across the organization under the guidance of the Sales Finance Manager.

Will provide analysis and guidance on spend productivity and spend effectiveness.
Systems
-
Will become an SAP and TPM/PlanEx expert and leverage Hershey systems to develop insights and solutions to complex business problems.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Requirements:

Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint are critical.

Solid understanding and familiarity of financial metrics and P&L fundamentals
Education Requirements:

Undergraduate business degree, MBA, CPA or equivalent experience
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience
