Position Summary
This role is a Marketer’s dream. As the Brand Manager of Reese’s & Oh Henry!, you will play an important leadership role throughout the corporation as the brand owner responsible for driving accelerated growth and brand health for one of Hershey Canada’s leading portfolios. The organization will look to you to deliver on your business objectives and will rely on your leadership skills & creativity to steward a team of internal and external cross-functional teams to execute your brand strategy flawlessly.
What will you do?
- Developing and implementing annual business reviews and marketing plans based on solid analysis and strong consumer insights.
- Working closely with your creative & media agency partners, lead the development and execution of brand building initiatives including Canadian-made promotions and advertising for both brands.
- Work with research team members to direct consumer research and ensure that key insights and learnings are captured, and actions taken.
- Collaborate with Innovation partners to develop and execute meaningful new products/line extensions that will drive brand development and growth.
- Manage ongoing business, including analysis of business results, SKU management, financial forecasting and reporting, etc.
- Work closely with key cross functional partners, specifically in the customer marketing and sales areas to ensure brand strategies drive closely linked sales/omni strategies and communications
- Lead a team of 2 direct reports
Qualifications
- Business degree or equivalent experience with a marketing or related major preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive brand management experience, preferably in the Packaged Goods industry or similarly disciplined industry
- Proven track record of experience building brands & creating effective advertising
- Strong leadership qualities, cross-functional teamwork and strategic thought leadership are required in addition to solid analytic skills.
- Strong presentation skills, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
