Role Overview:
The Senior Manager Information Services Canada serves as the primary IS liaison for the Canada geo-cluster, acting as a strategic IS co-pilot to support IS strategies, priorities, and roadmaps execution with strong business relationship management (BRM) and communication skills, being accountable for delivery and quality of Information Services.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business units and IS, EA, strategy, and service delivery teams, fostering strong relationships to drive innovation, value, and strategic priorities
- Manage a global portfolio of business applications projects, ensuring seamless integration between governance, IT service delivery, service providers, and business stakeholders
- Lead the implementation and operations of enterprise-wide and region-specific IS solutions across Canada
- Develop and manage cross-functional partnerships at global, regional, and local levels to execute enterprise, regional, and local solution strategies that align IS budgets and projects with business objectives to maximize ROI
- Ensure compliance with global IS policies, and provide leadership in the design, testing, implementation, and support of IS solutions
- With a “founder’s mentality,” identify and manage new growth opportunities and/or next frontier technologies for enterprise solutions in the portfolio through lifecycle management phases (innovation, growth, sustain/continuous improvement, retire/replace)
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering required
- Master’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
- 8+ years of experience managing, implementing, and/or supporting IS solutions
- 5 years of experience managing mid to large scale projects ($500k – $5M)
- 5 years of leadership experience in international markets
- 5 years of experience leading global teams
- Deep understanding of Corporate Systems (Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Legal) and Commercial Systems (Sales, Marketing, Trade Promotion, Merchandising)
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to assess options, balance costs and benefits, and drive effective decisions
- Strategic thinker with a focus on leveraging emerging technology trends to enhance business outcomes
- Polished communicator with executive presence, adept at delivering clear, concise updates to diverse stakeholders
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT domains: security, change management, data handling, business continuity, operations, and asset management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in business process technologies
- Experience in supporting global manufacturing environments with tailored IT solutions
- Ability to lead enterprise-wide collaboration, driving alignment and shared success
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
