Job Overview
How will you fit in the big picture?
The Analyst GTO MX will help enable smooth intercompany export operations between Mexico, the United States, and Canada for Hershey’s Mexico legal entities, including Monterrey and El Salto plants. This role ensures export orders cross on time, documentation is complete and accurate, and customs requirements are followed while supporting operational visibility for internal and external partners.
What will you do?
Manage, monitor, and support timely customs clearance for intercompany export orders across land and intermodal transportation.
Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, planning, transportation, and import teams to keep shipments moving and stakeholders informed.
Review and validate consolidated export pedimentos and ensure complete, accurate information in OneSource to support inventory controls and customs compliance.
Track weekly and monthly export KPIs, including crossing timing and customs documentation reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
Support documentation, returns of materials, sample shipments, and operational reporting with strong attention to detail and service to internal users.
Accountabilities
Experience:
2+ years of experience in import and/or export processes, including international transportation.
Knowledge of Mexican customs law, foreign trade rules, international trade, SAP S/4HANA, OneSource/Thomson Reuters, Complemento Carta Porte, and Microsoft Office.
Advanced English, conversational and written, preferred at 80% or higher.
Strong organization, planning, analytical thinking, customer orientation, communication, negotiation, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, International Business, or a related field.
