Job Overview
This role issues during inspections and assist higher-level SMEs in troubleshooting. Their work helps maintain equipment reliability and supports efficient production operations.
Accountabilities
1. Perform Skilled Maintenance and Repair Tasks The S15 technician executes defined maintenance and repair activities such as replacing components, aligning parts, and making standard adjustments on production and utility equipment. They follow technical instructions, use proper tools, and verify work accuracy. This ensures reliable equipment function and supports production flow.
2. Assist With Equipment Setup, Changeovers, and Basic Calibrations They perform specified steps during equipment setups, changeovers, and basic calibrations. The S15 technician checks parameters and ensures equipment readiness in accordance with procedures. This supports smooth transitions and consistent processing.
3. Conduct Structured Inspections and Report Findings They complete structured inspections using gauges and checklists to assess equipment conditions. Identified issues or deviations are documented and escalated to higher-level technicians. This supports early problem detection and informed maintenance planning.
4. Support Troubleshooting With Data Collection The S15 role gathers information, performs directed tests, and documents results to support troubleshooting efforts led by senior SMEs. They follow defined methods without independently choosing diagnostic approaches. This contributes to accurate problem resolution.
5. Maintain Tools, Work Areas, and Safety Compliance They organize tools and work areas and follow all safety and quality procedures during tasks. Unsafe conditions or deviations are reported promptly. These behaviors support a safe, compliant technical environment.
