Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Reports to Title: Reliability Lead ATL

Location: Monterrey, NL

 

 

Purpose of the position:

The maintenance supervisor is responsible for the general maintenance and reliability of the assets of the line(s) or process area. Ensuring the continuity of productive equipment. Comply with GMP standards to ensure the Safety and Quality of our products. Know, comply with and maintain the Safety, Health and Environment requirements applicable to their position

 

Summary of key activities:

  • Personnel administration and assignment of activities such as:
  • Supervise and manage staff under their charge.
  • Coordinate preventive, corrective and proactive maintenance activities.
  • Send daily reports.
  • Hold weekly safety talks.
  • distribution of preventive maintenance.
  • distribution and assignment of notifications.
  • Review orders and notifications to define priority.
  • Receive and deliver the earrings of the shift.
  • Attend and provide solutions to the production lines for corrective failures.
  • Coordinate with the production supervisor to define the priorities of the line and reach agreements.
  • Analysis and solution of problems.
  • Request the Technical Buyer through the Reliability Lead to purchase spare parts that are not in the warehouse and update the system, as well as work with external suppliers.
  • Supervise the correct execution of the works with external suppliers, guaranteeing the quality of the delivery of the same, respecting the safety and innocuousness policies.
  • Attend the assigned daily meetings of the communication cycle.

 

Skills and knowledge:

  • Mechanical, electrical and control technical knowledge.
  • Ability to train and manage others to achieve results, following all safety, quality and productivity policies and procedures.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization and data analysis skills
  • Ability to drive change effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and develop short- and long-term maintenance strategies
  • Ability to function independently and take ownership of improvement processes
  • Administration of technical personnel
  • Maintenance (Good Maintenance Practices, REORDER Points, Parts Manufacturing)

 

Experience:

  • +3 years as maintenance supervisor / people management.
  • Knowledge of maintenance management system.
  • Conversational English desirable, experience in food plants.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering related to the Electronic or Control, Automation, Mechatronics, Electromechanical field.
