Position Title: Regulatory Affairs Executive India

 

Summary:  


The Regulatory Executive applies technical, organizational, and project skills to execute regulatory matters and implement solutions to resolve problems. They work with a support of the local Regulatory Manager, building their knowledge and experience in India, to support the India Regulatory Team. Regulatory compliance of our products in the marketplace can be impacted if internal compliance and approval processes are not followed; this could have financial implications to the company if products have to be recalled or if fines are incurred if incumbent duties are not executed flawlessly.


Major Duties/Responsibilities:  

 

FSSAI Regulatory Compliance


• Review product formulation for compliance with FSSAI and internal guidelines.
• Review and approve Labels/Artworks.
• Prepare regulatory requirement documents for raw material and finished goods.
• Review marketing creatives and provide input-based on compliance.
• Maintain record of all regulatory compliance matrix.

Licensing & Plastic Waste Management
• Build knowledge of FoSCoS and its process.
• Support annual returns and manage online applications.
• Handle documentation for Hershey and third-party FSSAI licenses.
• Modify, add or delete Product Categories and maintain a tracker.
• Verify and upload product test reports in FoSCoS as per FSSAI timelines.
• Support in annual return filing and managing new PWM registrations in coordination with external agencies.

 

Business Engagement:

 

•Actively participate in cross functional meetings and provide regulatory guidance to project teams regarding development/innovation, formulation changes, and communication materials (i.e. Stage Gate).
•Support process improvements and policy changes.
•Develop communication for consumer and customer inquiries pertaining to regulatory.

 

Develop Regulatory Knowledge


• Stay updated on new FSSAI regulations.
• Maintain an accurate and updated database of all regulatory activities.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:


•Initiative, and the ability to change in a fast-changing environment.
•Impeccable ethics and must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
•Problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
•Proficiency in computer programs / software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, critically SAP (Recipe Management and Labelling).
•Ability to work flexible hours, and travel to support business needs (<10%)
•Self starter, Team Commitment, Passion for Growth.
•Language: English Proficient, Hindi Proficient

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Education:
Bachelor Degree in Science Related Field (Food Nutrition, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry) or equivalent


Experience:
1-2 Years
