Executive - Supply Chain (Finance)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

This position is primarily responsible for handling Supply Chain MIS and various reporting related requirement to the Management. In this process the incumbent is expected to work closely with the plant finance team, supply chain - managing data and by creating meaningful analysis that lead to business improvement and cost reduction. It will be key for the position to communicate findings from data and analysis to multiple stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Summary of major duties/expectations:

For assigned reports, the position will be required to perform the following activities:

• Assist supply chain team in budget preparation and consolidation.

• Drive variance analysis for key cost pools, identify action plans, communicate with the business team including timely reviews.

• Consolidation of monthly financial MIS reporting for all plants and 3P and creating key actionable slide for monthly SC review.

• Custodian of Logistic cost includes MIS creation CFA level & Brand level, variance analysis, controls management.

• Custodian of working capital- Inventory, include MIS creation, variance analysis and controls management.

• Carrying out adhoc analysis as per organizational requirement, providing analytical support to various cost reduction projects.

• Custodian of fixed cost allocation for Brand wise P&L, drive timely submission, standardization, and accuracy through understanding cost drivers.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: 

• Candidate should have good accounting and management reporting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should have a good business sense.
• Possess strong communication & interpersonal skills and work as a collaborative team member.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• MBA in Finance or CMA/ CA inter
• SAP, MS excel experience is a must
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
• Analytical Tools like BI, Alteryx is preferred
