Position Title: Head HR - India
Summary:
Responsible for creating and implementing the people strategy for Hershey India to enable and drive business performance.
Summary of Major Duties:
People Strategy:
Work closely with the business to formulate a long-term and annual HR strategy and operating plan to deliver business objectives
Change Management:
Enable building effective site-led operating models. Work with business managers on change initiatives, provide the tools, framework, and support to drive implementation.
Organization Structures & Culture:
The incumbent will implement the right organization structure in line with business priorities and goals to ensure optimum manpower productivity. This will be further supported by the implementation of processes like performance management and talent development strategies to ensure a high-performance organization.
Productivity:
Identify, plan and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity of the organization and meet its budget targets.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Implement appropriate strategies for recruitment of quality hires across functions further supported by the right induction and onboarding processes. Manpower planning & forecasting basis business needs, involvement in talent acquisition across levels within defined TAT through conducting interviews, liasioning with talent acquisition team and functional stakeholders and leading the induction and onboarding of new hires in the company.
Organization Development & Learning:
The incumbent will be required to drive the key organizational talent priorities such as development of high potential employees, strengthen the leadership pipeline through succession planning for key roles and learning initiatives (functional & leadership).
Employee Engagement:
The role entails driving insights from company employee engagement surveys to understand the voice of the employees and roll out corrective/developmental actions that have a positive impact of employee engagement and thereby productivity & retention.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree; MBA with specialization in Human Resource
Experience: 12+ years of experience
