Plant operates on various schedules (schedule assignment determined by candidate preference and plant needs):

2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat).

Job Summary
Responsible for performing hourly control tests, inspections of random samples of finished products, pre-operational inspections and swabbing to ensure cleanliness of lines.

Bag and label checks, Case count checks and Bag weight checks.

Monitoring of Critical Quality Control Points

Perform pre-op inspections.

Calibration of quality equipment

Assist supervisors withhold procedure.

Sanitation of lab and equipment.

Enter test results into computer as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-
Sample Preparation, Sample Analysis per Test protocols, Basic Math, and Literacy Skills
-
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
-
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
-
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written/oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
