SALESFORCE DEVELOPER

 

Summary

Hersheys is looking for a Salesforce Developer to our growing International IS Team, who will be part of our Commercial Solutions Product Team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Salesforce platform, designing, and implementing new improvements to help us drive the Hersheys International growth strategy.

This role will report to our IS Manager Commercial & Digital and will work closely with Technical teams and Business teams across the globe to understand needs/requirements to support existing Salesforce solutions and integrations with other systems/tools.

 

Responsabilities

  • Partner with Commercial, Product team and business partners to solve critical business problems through system configuration/development.
  • Deliver system capabilities and enhancements through a mixture of customization and code development to best fit the business requirements.
  • Maintain the current Salesforce instance and find opportunities to improve architecture for scale.
  • Manage new releases and efficiently roll out new features to the wider org.
  • Understand and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs.
  • Collaborate with Integrations team to support and develop integrations to our broader Salesforce landscape.
  • Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
  • Follow Agile process for completion of tasks and deliver outcomes on a regular basis.
  • Identify continuous improvement tasks for development, packaging, and DevOps process.
  • Collaborate with Product owner and business users globally to design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor programs/scripts.
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform updates and propose adoption of new technical features.
  • Manage incidents and outages within the Salesforce platform and handle production support.
  • Coordinate with Salesforce support to enable features and resolve sandbox/production issues.
  • Support in training delivery for new features to peers and business users.
  • Collaborate with US Enterprise Salesforce team to leverage their experience and skillsets in implementing best practices.
  • Identify and assess technical risks and issues.
  • Support the development operations and audit needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Hands on experience on Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud)
  • Programming stack:
    • Apex
    • HTML
    • Javascript
    • Lightning Web Components
  • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce-specific DevOps process (1GP, 2GP, Salesforce Dx)
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
  • Experience with Version Control systems
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functional and/or technical teams to deliver an Agile-based project

 

Education

               Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field

 

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development
  • 5+ years of experience in Software development
  • 5+ years of experience with scripting and programming languages
