Summary

Ensure the correct and complete posting of accounting activities in the company (Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, Southamerica and WTR) according to the GAAP, IFRS and other accounting actual rules stablish. Elaborate payroll accounting, intercompanies, reserves, and other GL account reconciliations and integrations.Create local and country taxes files. Attend and deliver information for auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the correct and complete analysis an posting of accounting activities in the company.
• Elaborate payroll, intercompanies, reserves, and other GL account reconciliations.
• Attend internal & external audits or other internal & external inquiries.
• Support on internal or external process improvement / changes and KPI.
• Integrate GL Accounts and elaborate taxes files.

Minimum knowledge and skills

Knowledge of Financial Accounting, posting journal entries and reconciliations.

Knowledge/ability to work with SAP FI, GAAP and IFRS prefereable.

English 80%

Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and produce accurate results

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Possess strong communication & interpersonal skills (both written & verbal) and work as a collaborative team member.

Education

BS in Accounting, Business Administration equivalent major or equivalent experience

2-3 years of experience in accounting
