Position Title:               Sr. Analyst Supply Chain Collaboration              

Reports to Title:          HBP COE Service Line & Supplier Collaboration              Job Code:

Summary:

The HBP Sr. Analyst Supply Chain Collaboration analyst is responsible for developing and delivering differentiating capability in the Supplier Collaboration. This position enables the HBP team to grow its grow its supplier base and, improve performance, reduce costs, and support a culture of continuous improvement. This position promotes strong connections with internal and external stakeholders and provides a healthy career path in HBP and the company.

 

             

1.          10%     Business Understanding and Direction:

·             Understands the vision, mission, strategies, and goals of the Hershey business and the changing environment of the industry in which it operates.

·             Strong understanding of Ariba SCC operations and operating processes, both at the business and technical level

•            Has a good grasp of how HBP collaborates and interacts with Global Procurement and its key stakeholders

2.          20%     Organization Capability Assessment:

·             Assess organizational health (performance, capacity, culture, etc.) regularly

·             Develop frameworks or tools to measure capability maturity levels and assess performance against industry benchmarks

·             Analyze data and information and recommend steps to leverage strengths, address improvement areas, and maintain predictable delivery of services

·             Maintain standards, processes, measures, policies, and guidelines that ensure high-quality outcomes for the organization

·            

3.          30%     Project Management and Supplier On-Boarding:

•            Collaborate with Internal & External Stakeholders to supply HSY suppliers with the implementation of Ariba SCC globally by working closely with SAP, Hershey IS team and Hershey business partners

•            Build project plans for testing and implementing B2B suppliers

•            Collaboration with Global Procurement to ensure alignment on suppliers and on-going goals and budget

4.          30%     Education and Training:

·             Evaluate, develop, and implement training solutions for current and future business needs

·             Work closely with HR to assess, plan, and implement training programs needed by the Supply Chain Collaboration and to align them with Hershey's training policies, programs, and systems

·             Manage programs to assist employees during transitions and personnel, process, and technology changes

5.          10%     Strategic Partnerships and Relationships:

·             Build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders (Global Procurement, IT Resources, Suppliers, etc)

·             Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers utilizing Ariba SCC, SAP Integrators and IT Resources

·             Network with counterparts in successful companies and participate in external communities/forums to discover and keep up with the latest trends in the industry

 

Key Performance Indicators: Measures of success in carrying out duties/responsibilities.

Capability Maturity Index      A numerical score indicating the maturity level of the organization's capabilities

Best Practice Adoption Rate             Percentage of the organization's successful adoption of industry best practices and benchmarks over identified best practices for implementation

Knowledge Transfer Rate      Percentage of the organization's success in transferring knowledge and expertise gained from benchmarking activities to relevant stakeholders

Employee Skill Proficiency Growth Rate    Percentage of growth in employee skill proficiency and competency levels over time

Stakeholder Satisfaction Index        A numerical score of stakeholder satisfaction with the organization's capabilities, services, and relationship management

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Be specific regarding years of experience, special training, applicable degrees (or critical college-level courses), as well as equivalency to education and experience. 

Education:      A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience:    ·             At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in procurement or related roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

·             Expertise in procurement processes, strategies, and best practices.

·             Experience with solutions, transitions, and change management, is a plus.

·             Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, managing projects, and driving process improvements.

·             Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, e-procurement platforms, and data analytics tools used in procurement operations.

·             Proven experience in managing customer expectations/Experience working in a Business Service environment

·             Excellent relationship builder and communicator with proven leadership and motivation ability.  (Bilingual-English).
