Role Overview

 

  • Responsible for coordinating and leading the category management agenda by translating category and shopper strategy into prioritized initiatives, guiding analytical execution, and acting as the primary category partner for internal and customer teams.

  • Lead the Category Management agenda by defining priorities, initiatives and deliverables aligned with shopper, channel and customer strategies. 
  • Translate category strategy into execution plans by guiding assortment, space, and shelving recommendations across customers and channels.
  • Act as the primary category point of contact for internal teams, ensuring alignment and relevance of category initiatives.
  • Review, validate and elevate analytical outputs (planograms, insights, reports) to ensure quality, consistency and actionability.
  • Drive Category Performance Improvements by identifying opportunities, tracking results, and recommending corrective actions.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills. 
  • Strong analytical literacy with the ability to challenge and elevate insights 
  • Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish). 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation capabilities 


Experience & Education

 

  • Bachelor´s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 
  • 5 years of experience in Category Management, Sales Analytics, Trade Marketing or related roles.
  • Experience in CPG/FMCG and Chocolate/Confection preferred.
  • Exposure leading categories with Key Retailers.
