Summary:

Position provides analytical support in the coordination, consolidation, analysis, and forecasting of financial information across the business. This role supports the financial planning and reporting processes by maintaining financial models, standard templates, and databases, enabling accurate and timely insights for decision making.

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for consolidating actuals, forecasts, and plans, performing variance analysis, supporting management reporting, and ensuring data integrity across financial systems and tools. The position interacts closely with cross‑functional teams to support planning cycles, business reviews, and ad‑hoc analyses.
Accuracy, structure, and attention to detail are required to meet company financial commitments and reporting standards. 

The role operates under the supervision of the FP&A Manager.

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • 30%    Responsible for the consolidation of financial actuals, forecasts, and annual plans across business units. Prepares standardized financial reports, dashboards, and management summaries to support monthly and quarterly business reviews. Ensures consistency and alignment between systems, reports, and planning templates
  • 30%    Performs detailed variance analysis versus Plan, Forecast, and Prior Year, identifying key drivers and trends. Supports FP&A leadership by providing clear, structured insights and explanations of business performance, including volume, mix, pricing, and cost impacts.
  • 20%    Supports financial planning cycles including Annual Operating Plan, Forecast updates, and long‑range planning. Maintains and improves financial models and templates to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability of planning processes. Assists in scenario and sensitivity analysis as required.
  • 15%    Maintains financial databases and ensures data accuracy across financial tools and systems. Supports data extraction, validation, and reconciliation activities. Works closely with Finance Systems and IT as needed to improve data quality, automation, and reporting efficiency.
  • 15%    Provides ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, management requests, and strategic decision making. Prepares materials and presentations for leadership meetings and cross‑functional discussions.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:  
•    Working knowledge of SAP modules
•    Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
•    Ability and aptitude to work with technical aspects of financial information systems.
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to analyze financial data and solve problems in a dynamic environment
•    Independent self starter with the ability to produce accurate results under time pressures; work within a team

 

Education:
Bachelors Degree with Business Administration, Finance or Accounting emphasis.  

 

Experience:
2-3 years of experience
