Position Title: IS Business Solution Specialist
Job location: Providencia, Jalisco
Summary
The IS BUSINESS SOLUTION SPECIALIST role will gather and align business requirements from the MX as well as Global Products (GP) and lead the translation of those requirements by collaborating with business and IT counterparts, Vendors to ensure that the solution addresses business needs today and into the future.
This key position is a liaison between the Business Process Owners and IT as well as manages the governance with Coporate tools.
The IS BUSINESS SOLUTION SPECIALIST is accountable for the whole end-to-end perspective of the entire IT solution that he/she manages. Solution Lead orchestrates all responsible roles and activities over the entire IT solution life cycle: plan, build, deploy, run and phase-out.
Major duties
Solution Management for Commercial Applications.
- Manages end-to-end solutions between small to medium based (Enterprise solutions, Web Applications, Mobile Applications & automation solutions etc.,)
- Consults the business pro-actively in new as well as optimizing existing solutions (technical + commercial) and in regards-to standardization. Techno commercial responsibility.
- Plans activities for IT Solution within planning processes in close alignment with the experts.
- Integrates IT Products/Services into customer’s environment according to customer specific needs to create required benefit for the customer.
- Manages IT Solution’s dependencies and integration of involved IT Products/Services in close alignment with relevant Product/Service Owners and takes over accountability for interfaces if thaey apply.
Business Relationship Management
- Proactively engage business and shape demand, identify IT opportunities, facilitate matching business needs and IT solution options, work with local leadership to design and maintain the IS solution portfolio and service catalog.
- Analyzes and communicates KPIs (including service level targets, customer satisfaction and benchmarking for solutions).
- Collaborate with business leaders in defining and sponsoring business process change and capability investments, which continuously increase the maturity of the process and sustain each level of maturity
Project/Portfolio Management
- Collaborate with the global and international IS teams to ensure that country/region ideas/projects are captured, prioritized, and implemented following global processes and standards. Interact with global IS team in implementing IS strategy. Responsible for overseeing IS services supporting country/region business.
- Conduct project planning activities and manage execution of projects according to plan. Determine required resources for a project. Liaison with implementation partner for sourcing needs and statement of work.
- Create / Analyze business cases looking for operation scale .
- Prepare executive information, reporting and communications related to IT services and programs.
- Lead and coordinate Initiatives/projects E2E
- Evaluate and improve IT services requests from user: business, enterprise and/or country needs.
- Prepare project and productivity reports and ensuring compliance with quality and hi perform results.
- Develop and maintain internal and external communication channels with stakeholders.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsiblities:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- PMI Certification a plus.
- Working knowledge of Project Management process and tools
- Program Launch experience.
- Medium Finance knowledge.
- Agile Frameworks,design Thinking, TOGA / ITIL
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering or similar.
- Strong ERP subject matter expertise.
- Agile / Scrum Knowledge
- ITIL.
- PMP
Experience
- Experience, 5 years as , Corporate Systems Lead, Business Analyst, IT Business Partner, or a similar role.
- Willing to move into different Business sites
- Advanced and fluent English comunitaction skills.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and people management skills.
- Business acumen, negotiation, analytical mindset, problem solving approach, and customer centric orientation.
- Experience in ERP (S4HANA) system.
- Strong experience in the corporate systems lifecycle (e.g., CRM, DMS, LMS, BI, LIMS)
- General knowledge of disruptive solutions such as AI, bots, big data, IoT and machine learning.
- Professional understanding of strategy, IT governance, and IT best practices, (e.g., project management, agile, GAMP, CMMI).
- Global experience with awareness of regional requirements in MX and LATAM.
