Position Title: Sr Specialist Procurement MKT and Trade MKT
Reports to Title: Procurement Manager
Dept / Function: Procurement
Location: Guadalajara, Jal.
Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for purchasing according the plan and company objectives. Development and search of new suppliers according to the needs of the Commercial Area and HR. Participate in the processes of the supply chain to promote improvement initiatives with suppliers. Request quotes and negotiations of terms and conditions of payment. Execution of bids.
Ensure the supply of materials and services for the execution of the strategic plans of the commercial area. Administration and monitoring of supply contract contracts.
Claims for bad service or defective materials. Provide solution of invoices blocked by price.
Responsibilities:
- New projects development.
- Biddings process of main materials and Cost Avoidance projects.
- Contract negotiations.
- Category strategy and Supplier Management.
- Supply market intelligence information, responsible of controlling and execution of mitigation plans to reduce the procurement risks.
Specific knowledge:
- Conversational English
- Computer skills, MRP, MS-Office.
- Database management.
- Supplier Development.
- Category Management.
- Experience negotiating Trade MKT material and services.

- Strong personal and professional values, impeccable integrity and the energy level and stamina required to meet the demands of the position. Possesses a self-starter mindset.
- Possesses a deep, detailed, and broad knowledge of point of sales material, and services required by Trade MKT and Sales groups
- Strong, demonstrated skills and expertise in procurement and/or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of global packaging markets, suppliers, and world economics as well as their impact on the business.
- Problem solving and the ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast-paced working environment.
- Possesses exceptional planning and organization skills
- Ability to analyze and screen suppliers for financial, supply, and service capabilities.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, misunderstandings and problems with suppliers in a manner that produces fair and timely resolution of issues.
- Focused on problem solving, analytical and verbal and written communication.
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize multiple activities and good management in situations of change.
Education:
International Business or Administration
Experience:
3-5 years of experience on procurement
