Shifts:
We ask that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays
Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. Most be flexible with work hours. You will be assigned to the Dupont Schedule.
- Dupont Schedule: Rotation of 2-2-3 days on/off, with every other weekend off, 12 hour shifts (6pm-6am)

The Hershey Company Robinson plant is a non-union plant producing products such as PayDay, Heath, Skor, Milk Duds, Whoppers, and Reese’s Pieces. In this role, you will work to maintain our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and be responsible for completing daily production paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for routine cleaning related to product quality and safety.
- Performs swabbing for the plant EMMP of product zones, non-product zones, and finished product testing.
- Supports operations and engineering within the plant regarding cleaning practices.
- Performs quality system audit activities as necessary.
- Operates/troubleshoots complex cleaning equipment and responds to equipment malfunctions.
- Participates in training to maintain sanitary and chemical knowledge.
- Supports and maintains the requirements for the Food Quality and Food Safety Program.
- Perform the cleaning of areas such as floors, walls, ceilings, air vents, overhead pipework, lights, plant equipment, and drain cleaning.
- Operation of floor scrubber as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working with chemicals and a sanitary environment.
- Understanding of cleaning practices.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- Strong Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels to deliver timely results.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Basic knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Food Safety and Quality plans.
Physical Demands:
- Light to moderate physical activity required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regularly required to work around operating equipment, stand, reach, pull, stoop, crawl, bend and climb ladders
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms for certain job tasks
Working Conditions:
- Work will be performed within a manufacturing facility
- The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to include but not limited to safety toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, bump caps, hair and beard nets, and gloves
- Wearing company issued uniforms is a requirement
- Operation of hi lifts, fork truck, cleaning equipment, chemical dispensing systems, lock out tag out (LOTO) and disassembling and assembling equipment.
- Handling a variety of cleaning chemicals.
