How will you fit in the big picture?
What will you do?
- Support production to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards through auditing, training, troubleshooting, and incident management
- Deliver training and education to plant personnel on food quality and safety requirements; reinforce understanding through follow-up and coaching
- Conduct audits aligned with PEP, HACCP, and environmental compliance programs; review critical control point documentation for accuracy
- Lead incident investigations, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions using systems such as SAP, LPR, and CONC
- Manage sampling and laboratory-related activities, including micro, environmental, and retained samples; ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Support instrumentation calibration, dosing preparation, and ingredient inventory management
- Perform internal audits across HACCP, sanitation, and prerequisite programs; follow up on non-conformances
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using PEP elements such as Master Control Plans, SSOPs, HACCP, ACCP, and weight control systems
- Partner on cross-functional teams and support new product launches from test runs through commercialization
Minimum Education & Requirements
B.S. or A.S. in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
