Role Overview:
The Coordinator Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in support the managing of end-to-end supply chain processes for a consumer packaged goods company. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, overseeing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of products, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. The coordinator will leverage data analytics and supply chain tools to drive improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Support the STO process from US to Puerto Rico, aligned to the Ass Manager priorities to DC replenishment planning
- Inventory KPIs: Oversee the inventory levels with DHL to ensure adequate supply and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for DHL operation and generate reports for commercial visibility
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics.
- Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to achieve organizational objectives.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Demonstrates a deep understanding of supply chain principles and practices, including inventory management, logistics, and procurement. Ability to apply this knowledge to optimize supply chain operations effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data analytics tools and techniques to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Strong problem-solving abilities to address supply chain challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders. Ability to present data and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing inventory, analyzing data, and overseeing supply chain processes. Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma).
Experience:
3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role. Demonstrated experience in inventory management, and process improvement is essential.
