HR Generalist – APAC & China (Based in Singapore)

 

Summary :

 

Generalist HR will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of proactive HR, Organizational Development & Design strategies for Hershey to meet current and future business needs for the region, through working in partnership with the Sr. Manager, HRBP. He/She will lead the development and implementation of regional systems and processes, including realizing potential and managing talent and leadership capability and embedding values and behaviors into all people processes and systems. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating challenging forces in a dynamic space and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with significant change.

 

In addition, this position will provide day to day HR support to Sr. Manager, AEMEA & China and be responsible in managing day to day operations of HR across APAC  & region. Being the first point of contact for all employee related issues, policy implementation, benefits management and other HR support. Will work mainly with people leaders and employees across APAC and China region

 

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities :

 

  • Support the development and execution of innovative HR, Organizational Development, Design, L&D projects, programs and initiatives for the development of the company’s culture and values, management of change, employee engagement and wellbeing, talent management, leadership capability and all employee development related initiatives
  • Pre-employment and onboarding process for new joiners
    • Employee vendor account creating
    • Pre-employment setup for new joiners- Inform GBS Payroll to include in payment run, share benefits
    • Request Medical & Lifer Insurance addition
    • Prepare joining announcement
    • Prepare induction presentation & book onboarding schedule
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations, recognition, and engagement
  • L&D coordination- Coordinating training programs with COE and assigning trainings to relevant groups of employees, maintaining attendance. Collecting & analyzing training feedback
  • Conduct organizational needs analysis and lead the development of appropriate plans and programs to ensure all employees have the skills, knowledge and experience to perform their roles to the highest standard and meet the future needs of Hershey
  • Identify, own and manage risks arising from strategic and operational OD and learning and development plans, projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with ER & legal teams to resolve employee related issues in APAC
  • Conducts exit interviews and coordinates with HR ops/admin teams to complete exit formalities
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Benefit administration - Centralizing benefits for APAC- Medical, Life & Accident Plans, policies
  • Overseeing insurance management like broker management, scheme design, employee communication.
  • Manage/Update Employee Census list
  • Collaborates with external approved consultant and internal legal team and Total Rewards team for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws initiated by country laws

 

Job Requirements :

 

Minimum Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 6-8 years related working experience
