Pay 

  • Starting at $31.00/hour 

  • Shift differential of $3.00/hour for overnight shifts 

  • Bi-weekly pay

Shifts 

  • Orientation Week: Your orientation schedule will be provided to you prior to your start 

  • Regular Schedule: Monday- Friday, 10pm-6:30am with flexibility to flex hours as needed.

Job Summary 

The Training Coordinator is responsible for conducting training and certifications, updating and developing training materials and work instructions. The Training Coordinator with need to work across all teams to ensure training and certifications are compliance with Hershey policies and procedures. 

 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with other departments, such as HR, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Maintenance and Operations to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. 

  • Conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions for manufacturing personnel, including new hires, and existing employees, to ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality and safety standards, and operational protocols. 

  • Develop and update comprehensive training programs for manufacturing staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and efficiency. 

  • Create assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs. 

  • Provide detailed feedback and support during evaluation and qualification assessments. 

  • Deliver, project, and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics and live production environments. 

  • Must display leadership qualities that sets the standard and expectations through example in his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character to promote a positive team atmosphere. 

  • Maintaining all documentation including employee training records. 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure employees on all shifts have training opportunities. 

  • Must meet the requirements of the work record review criteria. 

  • Where required, must have a PIT license (Powered Industrial Truck) or ability to obtain and maintain a license (for skill areas that require PIT). 

  • Work with all Lead to help enable them to be the trainers in their respective areas 

  • Become proficient on all the equipment, including new equipment, to be able to develop and update training documentation. 

  • Assist with all other tasks assigned by plant management. 

 

Requirements 

  • Organizational skills to manage training schedules and documentation. 

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. 

  • Proficiency in using training software and technology; proficiency in using all Microsoft Applications. 

  • Excellent training and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with team members. 

  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe production of quality products. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee records., 

  • Understanding, executing, and reinforcing current facility policies and procedures. 

  • Must remain in position for a minimum duration of one year. 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
