Sr Analyst IS Supply Chain


Reports to         Mgr IS GBS/OTC/Finance/HR Services

Job Location    Guadalajara, México



The Hershey Company is looking for an IT Supply Chain Lead for the Information Services International team to lead transformation projects for Supply Chain, for example demand planning, labor scheduling, reduction of logistics complexity, etc. This role will work closely with IT and SC teams, international and corporate, across international markets to understand the business needs and lead IT solution implementation according to local and corporate procedures.



  • Establish a business partner relationship with Supply Chain stakeholders in international markets, collaborating to identify and define requirements that meet business objectives.
  • Partner with business process owners to understand needs and new requirements, identify areas of opportunity in the business and propose solutions.
  • Seek and implement continuous improvement on daily operations and established IT solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to contribute on the development of transformation strategies and vision.
  • Inform and work with direct manager for identification and definitions of ideas and potential projects.
  • Build functional specifications and project documents under corporate IS policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop functional domain expertise for Supply Chain processes in the corporate ERPs.
  • Contribute to the build of the center of expertise for SC solutions, meeting and documenting international standards, processes and common solutions across the company and international region.
  • Lead transformation projects and support team post the stabilization phase.
  • Align with the overall global Information Services strategy, processes, platforms, and embrace new ways of working with Agile methodology.


Minimum knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge in Supply Chain process such as: Production scheduling, warehousing, logistics and manufacturing.
  • Technical skills for system SC configuration.
  • Functional skills for working with SAP and/or Microsoft dynamics.
  • Functional skills to analyze procedures, reports, tables, and issues.
  • Knowledge in project management and agile methodologies.
  • Skills for building functional specifications, project documents, and process assessments.
  • Ability to work with different business partners and IS partners.
  • Good English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Demonstrated ability for a rapid understanding of business processes, and their technology implications.



               Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or IT discipline like administration, computer science, engineering, etc.



  • 5+ years of professional experience including business relationship management and/or consulting experience specifically in Supply Chain processes.
  • 3+ years of experience working with SC technologies, with functional ERP understanding (preferable SAP).
  • Experience implementing SC capabilities and technologies, and/or providing functional SAP SC support, and/or being a Key User for SAP SC Solutions is a plus.
  • Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods industry is a plus.
