Summary

 

As a Coordinator for The Hershey Company’s Global Business Services team, you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team in final processing steps for a high volume of US hires and pre-employment processes. This role will focus on ensuring internal and external hires are processed accurately into the correct company code and position, including verifying all HR data is correct for the new hire. The role will focus on salaried US hires and hourly US hires. You would also be supporting our Service Now ticket platform maintaining SLA 48 hours for ticket resolution. It takes a process-oriented person with a high level of data accuracy to handle the details in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•         Final processing of new hires through the Applicant Tracking and Onboarding systems after Talent Acquisition has approved them for hire and verified pre-employment steps are complete.

•         Ensuring all candidates are status appropriately and are hired well in advance of their start date to facilitate proper processing.

•         Verifying company codes for all hires and updating start dates for any internal moves that require a company code change.

•         Confirming correct start dates and salaries and correcting any candidate data that may cause issues with replication to payroll.

•         Processing contractor and intern conversions properly to ensure network access is maintained.

•         Processing rehires accurately so prior network access is restored and available on their start  date.

•         Verifying replication once hires are processed and identifying/correcting any issues.

•         Send First Day email for all the hires process prior start date.

•         Working with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator team to confirm any outstanding questions.

 

20%:

•         Mange our Service Now ticket platform maintaining SLA 48 hours for ticket resolution.

o        Assign tickets to the correct assignment groups.

o        Confirm Rehire eligibility for future employee.

o        I-9 Questions

o        Drug Screen results for hourly positions.

o        Onboarding questions (filling out forms, problems with log-in)

 

10%:

 

•Support on pre-employment processes for candidates (back-up of our HR TA Analyst)

o        Monitoring background check statuses and ensuring clearance.

o        Monitoring drug screen tests and ensuring clearance.

o        Ensure relocation for specific candidates.

o        Sent Onboarding via Success Factors.

 

Minimum knowledge and skills

 

•         Strong verbal and written communication skills, planning skills and exceptional follow up skills (English -Required)

•         Microsoft Office 365 expertise (Required)

•         Knowledge of recruitment process (Desirable)

•         Knowledge of SAP HR Technology and Applicant Tracking systems (SuccessFactors Preferred (Desirable)

•         Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize, and strong sense of urgency (Desirable)

•         Exceptional interpersonal skills with internal and external customers (Desirable)

 

Education

 

Minimum of 3 years of general business experience required or equivalent education

 

Experience

 

•         A minimum of 1.5 years of general business experience required or equivalent education

•         Talent Acquisition or HR experience is preferred
