Responsibilities:
• Functions as Specialist for Engineering Record (ER) within SAP. Initiates and monitors workflow; assign subject matter experts and task owners, task oversight, management of key dates, durations, and approvers as appropriate
• Performs and verifies SAP BOM creation for new and changing items
• Uses output of impact analysis ("where-used" reporting) to link materials impacted to proposed product changes
• Sets up and ensures Engineering Records (ER) are created in SAP PLM with correct template based on reason for change
• Act as a liaison to all functional areas (Packaging, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Quality Assurance, etc.), ensuring data owners are assigned to relevant data structures & objects via ER
• Governs SAP Engineering Record approvals, as certain business critical issues to be resolved for projects to advance, and concludes whether process requirements were met whether process requirements were met
• Proactively provides insight, direction, and resolution on moderately complex process and system issues.
Minimum knowledge and skills
• Domain knowledge of end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management processes and master data processes and lifecycle
• Process Excellence & Orientation
• Established understanding of the structure, hierarchy, and interrelationship of bills of material, material assemblies, and specifications
• Strong Communication, Collaboration, & Teamwork Orientation
• Project Management (for overseeing coordination, tasks, etc. for PERs)
• Reporting & KPI Measurement
• SAP tool knowledge. MS Project or other timeline/PM tool a plus
• Strong Analytical and Presentation Skills – Excel and PowerPoint
• Capability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• English Advance
Education
Education: Bachelor's degree. Project Management and/or LEAN/Six Sigma training or certification a plus.
Experience
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience, preferably in CPG, Supply Chain & Manufacturing
Exposure to data quality, records management, security and privacy concepts, best practices, and project management tools/technologies is advantageous.
Experience related to business process improvement, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving.
