Summary of Role
As the of Category Management, the primary objective will be to solidify Hershey's position as a key player in the category while strategically influencing the customer. This entails developing a comprehensive strategy to leverage Hershey's portfolio strengths for the benefit of the customer, consumers, and the company, in close collaboration with other commercial teams.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for acting as Category Management partner/leader to Sales Partners, customer key decision makers, and internal Hershey customers to drive consistent topline/net sales growth/share target
- Manage and support business by understanding and coaching: Syndicated and panel data analysis, factory sales, and the development of quantitatively supported best demonstrated sales practices.
- Synthesize actionable insights using retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, and shopper insights.
- Utilization and application of Hershey’s internal order management system, SOLVE, to write and place orders.
- Perform line reviews and build planograms using JDA to support incremental category growth.
- Ideate, Develop & Test strategic solutions that enhance the customer experience demonstrated to the customer through advanced POWER Storytelling skills by leveraging tools such as Mekko PPT Charts, PowerBI (Create Dashboards), PowerBI (Consume Dashboards), Tableau (Create Dashboards), Excel.
- Establish yourself as the leading provider of category strategies and expertise, with the customer and within the team.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA Preferred

Experience:
|
Minimum 4-5 years Category Management experience with 3+ years of CPG sales and experience as a key strategic account CSE or as a Category Consultant or Strategist
