Position: Senior Sales Officer – Modern Trade
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Functional Competencies
Market Execution
1. Well versed with Functions /process /systems of Modern Trade functions.
2.Good Relations across the MT stores and key Retail persons.
3. Understanding of Brand SOS maintainence and availability with Freshness across market.
4. Ensure effective merchandising with regular coaching to Team
5. Understand the importance of MSS concept wrt Different Retailer.
Business development Skills
1. Handling Primary & Secondary Sales of assigned territory
2. Account wise Tgt achievement & Growth planning MOM level
3. Able to deal with problems and decision making skills to develop the business 4. Fill Rate Adherence and Forecast analysis MOM
5. Good Relation with key retailer.
Channel Partner Management
1. Ensures Secondary Sales and proper growth plan with channel partner.
2. Ensures Inventory as per Norms and adherence to WOW as per company policies.
3. DMS Implementation
4. Ensures channel partner Month /Damages- claims clearance on time.
5. Fill rate be on Top priority.
Behavioral Competencies
Planning and Execution
1. Understands the given target, is able to break it down in weekly/daily numbers account wise.
2. Knowledge of brands, sales & distribution, activations planned and how to maximize the benefits.
3. On Time execution of Company Paid activation and unpaid planned activities.

1.Able to collect inputs by interaction, brainstorming, discussion, paraphrase them and respond back
2.Able to handle objections & negotiations and drive new ideas & measures to implementation.

2.Understands importance of company software for better knowledge and help in taking business decision.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Full time MBA from any Reputed college/university
Experience:
3 years of sales experience in ModernTrade preferred- in specific geography, Candidates must be have front line sales experience for atleast 3 yrs experience in FMCG company ( Chocolates & Food industry preferred).
The should be comfortable with English /Hindi ( Regional Language additional advantage)
