Customer Sales Executive, Kroger GO Seasonal

Summary:

The Customer Sales Executive (CSE) is responsible for profitably growing Kroger’s Hershey business to achieve objectives and plans, including net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin with a focus on our Seasonal planning and support.

Responsibilities include business planning & analysis, creating valued business partnerships with key contacts at Kroger and within Hershey, and achieving mutually beneficial agreements through skilled negotiation and understanding of the customer’s business. The CSE will also be responsible for providing insight & category management support for these businesses and be highly involved in several centralized selling activities across the CSE team, including JBP management.

 

Responsibilities:

· Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin targets for Kroger by simulating and planning incremental volume, pre and post analysis, and displaying core competencies and behaviors. This includes judiciously managing and allocating trade funds (maintaining compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley policies) to achieve profitable sales growth.

· Effectively utilize Hershey’s and customers analytical tools (e.g. PlanEx, Circana, Market 6, 84.51, Atlas, etc.) and processes to drive profitable and predictable sales results

· Build and maintain appropriate sales forecasts and plans, partnering with cross functional teams, including customer planning, sales planning, sales finance, etc…)

· Create annual merchandising plans, managing trade fund budget including clearing deductions, and processing invoices and post-audits

· Conduct several line reviews across businesses, partnering with home office teams and Kroger merchants to develop insights and share growth strategies

· Monitor and control customer expenses to include waste and supply chain costs

· Intangible Skillsets, including…strong business acumen, proactive, leader, forecasting and planning, P&L management, and thrives in a data rich environment.

 

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree required

· Experience: At least 7-9 years relevant sales experience
