Role Overview

 

As a key contributor to the Hershey Canada sales team, the CSE Walmart Seasons will be responsible for profitably growing Hershey Canada’s business with Walmart to achieve the assigned objective/plan, including gross sales, net sales, profit contribution as well as share. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and communicating the customers’ business plan. Focus on achieving appropriate permanent distribution as well as executing a comprehensive promotional calendar to include seasonal and non-seasonal programs. Establish and communicate priorities for the retail organization.  Support all business units with critical analytical support.

  • Drive the development and execution of customer business plans, including product listings, distribution expansion, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze sales and market data to identify trends and opportunities and assist in building compelling selling stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain) to ensure alignment on execution and customer needs.
  • Forecast and track sales performance against targets.
  • Manage promotional calendars and coordinate merchandising activities with customers

Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
  • Proficiency in Retail Link/Scintilla
  • Above average knowledge of Nielsen IQ with ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Exceptional organization, communication and presentation skills

 

Experience & Education

  • 7-10+ years progressive professional experience in sales and Consumer Packaged Goods
  • 5+ years experience in confection category
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field

  • The road is your office.  This position requires a road warrior who is able to work independently on the road while interacting with our customers and sales team.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $106,000 to $132,500 annually.  The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training.  In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well‑being (as applicable).
