Position: Sales Manager – South America
Location: based in São Paulo or Porto Alegre
SUMMARY:
Responsible for joint business planning within market partners distributors for the total trade in the retail industry to drive volume, profit and share growth. Also, responsible for planning, organizing and developing sales and marketing brand building strategies to maximize sales performance and brand awareness. The position will manage an annual promotional budget use to negotiate new item listings, special consumer deals, secondary locations, features and / or in-store activities that will drive the overall growth and strategy in key customer via the distributor.
The professional will address execution issues, customer inquiries, analyze sales reports, trends, promotional performance and financials to make required adjustments or capitalize the opportunities at hand.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES FOR THE ROLE:
- Development of joint business plans for the markets assigned (Chile, Peru, Argentina, Uruguai, Paraguai and Equador) for modern and traditional trade.
- Alignment of goals and plans with Distributors to assure sales growth.
- Deliver sales targets for assigned countries.
- Planning of consumer / shopper programs, new product trade launch and promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and market knowledge to give competitive advantages.
- Analyze market information and customer / retailer needs to generate commercial opportunities (expansion and business development).
- Negotiate and guide the execution of the annual sales plan target and promotional to meet the company’s goals.
- Conducts annual, quarterly and monthly business reviews with distributors / customers.
- Manage the execution of sales programs, adjusting as necessary to deliver results and provide sales updates to business partner’s field operations group. Get feedback and report on competitive activity, account changes, promotions.
- Trade investment control per country.
REQUISITOS NECESSÁRIOS
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with Sales in international markets, in South America countries.
- Knowledge in exports and international trade concepts.
- Advanced or fluent English and Spanish mandatory.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop strategic relationships.
- Availability to travel.
