Charitable Initiatives: Milton Hersheys School

The Milton Hershey School is a cost free, private boarding school providing a nurturing home and education for 2,000+ students in pre-K through 12th grade from families with low income. Milton and Catherine Hershey founded the school in 1909 with their fortune built by The Hershey Company. Since then, the lives of more than 12,000 children from qualifying families have been transformed through high quality education and a structured home life. The school offers a comprehensive program, including academics, extracurricular activities, and on campus student homes with houseparent's, aiming to help students develop into well rounded individuals with all costs covered.
